Why I chose to study Japanese

I want to learn Japanese because I am interested in the Japanese culture. Learning a new language is always exciting, and the similarities I could find between Japanese and Chinese are very interesting. After the first four week of Japanese class, I found that the most challenging part of learning Japanese is the differentiation between similar vowels, for example: "ka" and "ga", "to" and "do" etc.
